Premature ejaculation (PE), or rapid ejaculation, is reported to be the most common sexual dysfunction in men. PE cause negative feeling such as guilt, anger, inadequacy, ineffective sexual behavior, self-control in latency ejaculation and low self-esteem. The propose of this research is show the effectiveness of combined cognitive behavioral and sexual self-efficacy on reduction of PE. It is proposed that such combination can reduce PE, increase sexual satisfaction and sexual self-efficacy. Two groups of PE referred men were selected. 19 subjects were allocated to control group and 19 other to experimental group. Therapy was consisted of 8 weekly sessions. In the first week two sessions were held. The rest of the sessions were held weekly. There was a follow up after two weeks. In the process of therapy techniques such as imagery, relaxation, squeeze, increase of sexual relationship, repetition of self-statement self-control in latency ejaculation, self statement self-efficacy, repetition of encouraging statements by his wife, increasing lovely and affectionate behavior during the intercourse process were used. The results indicated significant increase of latency duration ejaculation, reduction of the frequency of PE, increase of sexual satisfaction, and sexual self-efficacy.
