Abstract

ACADEMIC ADJUSTMENT among university students and its reation with mental health, effective use of time, and study skills and practice is one of important issues in planning for academic success. With this purpose 146 male and 90 female students of Guilan university completed Henry Borow's ACADEMIC ADJUSTMENT Inventory. Resalts indicated that male students in curricular adjustment is higher than female students (p<0.05). Famale students had higher adjusted goals. Mental health scale has the highest positive and significant correlation (0.78) with ACADEMIC ADJUSTMENT. Also, correlation of mental health with study skills and practice was 0.54.
