Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess the ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE of the library personnel of both Ferdowsi University and Astan Quds. A population of 100 librarians (47 at Astan Quds and 53 at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad) were surveyed through a questionnaire based on seven skills of Albrecht. Forms to respond to and prevent from a dullness conceptualization uses ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE, Albrecht presents a model which has seven dimensions: Strategic perspective, Common faith, Orientation to change, Unity and agreement, Morale, the application of knowledge and performance pressure. Each of these dimensions one of the research hypotheses.The main hypothesis of the study is that there is no meaningful difference between the ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE of the library at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the library of ASTAN QUDS RAZAVI. The main hypothesis along with six other models strategy perspective were rejected. The resulted mean of strategy perspective at the libraries of ASTAN QUDS RAZAVI were (15.2) and at the libraries of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad was (19.7). The information was collected through questionnaires. It should be emphasized that ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE must be of great importance to the managers of libraries and every criterion of ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE should be measured, periodically examined, and reevaluated in their libraries. This would promote their ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE subsystem.
