Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the question of women's security in the city. Women's life in cities is always affected by lack of urban security, real or potential, a factor which prevents women from being fully active citizens. In this article, using the data of a research, the writer reflects the views of women about security in the city and explores the factors that threaten security. The writer then discusses ways that ensure more security for women. Among these ways, the writer mentions the encouragement of men to act with a stronger sense of responsibility in this regard, and the formation of special committee of women in the city.
