Abstract

Nowadays, knowledge is one of the most valuable organizational capitals. Rapid changes and knowledge growth have led organizations to use KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT for their survival. Therefore, organizations try to identify basic factors for creating KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT focuses on organizational capability. To be successful organizations need a new environment for sharing knowledge and human behavior. Basic factors for pitching KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT are INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, KNOWLEDGE PROCESSES and ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE. This research supposes these factors as basic factors and explains the qualitative condition of these factors in National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company.
