Abstract

In order to study the effective factors in student's SELF-CONFIDENCE, through sample-class approach, 200 students out of made high school in Gogan were chosen and required information was collected by using individual-family characteristics, SELF-CONFIDENCE test prepared by the researcher, Indler & Parker COPING methods and NEO PERSONALITY characteristics, data analyses with the use of statistical examination of one-way variance analysis, Pearson’s correlation and step by step regression, showed that the students with physical and art-related activities and with exact PROGRAMMING, in contrast with the students without these activities had more SELF-CONFIDENCE, further more, these results showed that except the number of family member, other variables (training approaches, COPING methods, agreeableness, extraversion, SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENT, PARENT’S LITERACY DEGREE and INCOME)had meaningful relations with SELF-CONFIDENCE.
