Abstract

The present research aims at studying the impact of GROUP COUNSELING in logo therapy method for the improvement of the GENERAL HEALTH of female victims of EARTHQUAKE in Zarand city. The research is based on a semi -experimental method. The population of our study consists of all 20 WOMEN who have been affected by Zarand EARTHQUAKE and who have been selected through a multi-stage cluster sampling. The tool used for the gathering of information is the GENERAL HEALTH questionnaire (GHQ- 28). In order to analyze the data, the T test has been also used. The analysis and synthesis showed that the GROUP COUNSELING in logo therapy will improve four dimensions of GENERAL HEALTH: physical status, stress, depression and mental disorder. However, this method did not have a significant impact from a social perspective.
