Abstract

Historically, the practice of law has been considered a man’s job and women have faced obstacles as well as cultural, social and administrative resistance to enter this circle. The result has been manifested in gender inequality not only in positions such as appointment to court justice but also to lower judicial positions. Meanwhile current developments in term of utilizing redressing justice, moderation, development of policies about reduction of criminal cases, emphasis on social justice based patterns, participation of people and popular institutions in regard to resolution of disputes has created great opportunities for more involvement of women in various legal and judicial arenas. The focus of this research is to critically evaluate the position and status of PROFESSIONAL WOMEN in JUDICIAL SYSTEM through qualitative methods, as well as utilizing indicators of surveying status, such as professional values, responsibility, as well as salary and benefits.
