Abstract

 The research was to examine the relationship between PSYCHOLOGICAL OWNERSHIP and JOB PERFORMANCE. The aim of the present study is an applied perspective, the nature and methods, descriptive and correlational research focuses also on the time dimension, and the cross-sectional view of the types of data, quantitative research is considered. Statistical population consists of employees of maintenance workshop of flight training of an airport that in accordance Morgan table 210 were selected by simple random sampling. In this research for measuring PSYCHOLOGICAL OWNERSHIP data, Van dyne and Pearce (2004) questionnaire and for JOB PERFORMANCE Paterson (1970) questionnaire have been used. The collected data were analyzed through both descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson Correlation and Multiple regression One_ Way analyses of variance). The results of this research showed that there is a significant relationship between PSYCHOLOGICAL OWNERSHIP. In addition, a significant and positive relationship was found between the components of the two variables. Therefore, finding of this research support organizational performance as a sense of attachment to the staff for aligning of individual goals with organizational goals and institutionalize the sense of ownership and belonging, self-consciousness, thoughts, ideas, opinions and beliefs of employees to organizational goals.
