Abstract

 The accomplished research was proceeded to examine the impact of SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING on INDIVIDUAL-SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT, aggression and ASSERTIVENESS in Ahwaz city high school female being at risk students. The sample subsumed 60 high school female being at risk students who were selected via multi stage random sampling procedure. All the subjects were allocated into two groups by random, giving equal chance to every subject student to be included in each group: The experimental group and control group. Pretest and post test experimental design with control group was processed. For data collecting California Personality Inventory (CPI), Ahwaz Aggression Questionnaire (AGQ) and Adolescent Self-Assertive Scale (ASA) were administrated. SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING were presented to experimental group for twenty sessions, one hour duration each, while control group received none. The results were considered significant at p value less than 0.0001 (p<0.0001). Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was implied as main statistics procedure and revealed that: SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING increased INDIVIDUAL-SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT and ASSERTIVENESS whereas reduced aggression in high school female being at risk students.
