Abstract

This paper aims to present the optimal design of brushless permanent magnet motor using genetic algorithm (GA) and finite element analysis. The equation related to the design and dimensions of brushless permanent magnet motor will be investigated. Then, an optimum design based on genetic algorithm is presented in order to increase the combination of POWER DENSITY and EFFICIENCY. Finally, obtained dimensions are evaluated using finite element analysis (FEA) which its results validate optimization process properly.
