Abstract

The fundamental aim of this study was the effect of LIFE SKILLS on SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT in guidance STUDENTS from the perspective of their TEACHERS in Alashtar city. The population of the study was all middle school TEACHERS. There were 300 TEACHERS that among from 175 TEACHERS were selected as the sample based on simple random sampling method.The research tool was a questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the equivalent of 84% indicated that this amount of parallelism between internal questions are suitable.In statistical analysis, descriptive statistics and interferential statistics were applied in the description of data, and dispersion was measured by the Pearson correlation by analyzing the data through soft ware spss 15 package. Testing results showed that there is a significant relationship between social LIFE SKILLS and SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT, self- awareness, decision making skills, problem solving, coping with emotions and reduce peer rejection.
