Abstract

This study aimed to identify factors affecting the DEVELOPMENT of entrepreneurship higher education programs. A total of 386 managers from universities in Tehran were selected through census. The research instruments were interview, CONTENT analysis, and a researcher-made questionnaire. The questionnaire was CONTENT validated drawing on the views of ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION professors. The Cronbach's alpha coefficients of the two scales of policy and education were assessed to be 0.87 and 0.84 respectively. Data was analyzed through structural equation modeling approach. The results suggested that POLICIES and educational factors significantly affected the DEVELOPMENT of ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION programs. From among educational components policy making, implementing and evaluating POLICIES, designing, implementing, evaluating course and its CONTENT were found to impact on the DEVELOPMENT of ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION programs directly and positively. Moreover, the findings revealed that primary fitness indexes confirmed the model of factors influencing the DEVELOPMENT of entrepreneurship higher education programs.
