Abstract

The present study examines the effect of rational emotive behavior therapy on the self-esteem of blind female students. For this purpose, a sample consisting of twelve subjects was selected and divided into experimental and control groups equally. The results show that rational emotive behavior therapy increases the overall, family and social self-esteem of the subjects. However, the therapy is not effective for their physical and educational self-esteem.
