Abstract

The aim of study was to develop, validate ,and determine the factor structure of a questionnaire for assessing students STRESSORS to pre-university. 288 studnts were chosen through multiple steps random sampling from 4 regions of Ahvaz and completed the questionnaire .Data were analyzed with Correlation design and through exploratory and factor analysis, principle component analysis, Varimax rotation , and Cronbach`s alpha. principle component analysis reveale Pre-university Students STRESSORS Inventory (PSSI) consists of three factors: general STRESSORS of school ,family STRESSORS, examination STRESSORS. Cronbach`s and test-retest was satisfactory for all parts of questionnaire: general STRESSORS ,family of STRESSORS and examination of STRESSORS. Pre-University Student STRESSORS Inventory (PSSI) could be used as a valid instrument for assessing STRESSORS in pre-university students.
