Title

THE EFFECT OF RESPONSIBILITY TRAINING ON BOY'S SELF-ESTEEM AT HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL

Abstract

 The present research was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of RESPONSIBILITY Training by Glassers method on increasing boys SELF-ESTEEM of the high school students in Baghmalek. The related population include all the boys students at the high school in Baghmalek and 30 participants of this population were selected randomly in a multi-stage metods and they were divided in to 2 experimental and control groups. The instruments used in the peresnt study included: the Cooper smith SELF-ESTEEM and Demographic information questionnaires. The pre-test and pos-test control group design was used. After randomly selection of the experimental and control groups, a pre-test was administered to both groups. Then experimental interference was administered to experimental group in 10 sessions. And at the end of the treatment, a post-test was conducted to both groups. In this study,in addition to descriptive statistics, analysis of variance (ANCOVA) and MANCOVA were utilized. The concluded results conferment the most research bypotheses and revealed that RESPONSIBILITY training in Glasser metod increases SELF-ESTEEM in experiment group.
