Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS TRAINING on MOTHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP among students. The populations are students in guidance schools in Dezful. The sample consisted of 54 students; they were multi stage randomly assigned to experimental group (n=27) and control group (n=27). Parent-Child Relationship Scale (PCRS) was used in order to collect the data. The design of the study was of the pretest-posttest with control group type. ANCOVA and MANCOVA were administered to analyze the data. The results confirmed all research hypotheses and showed that TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS TRAINING improved MOTHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIPs and its dimensions consisted of positive affect, irritation and perplex of role, likeness and commune among students (p<0.05).
