Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study of relationship between METACOGNITION, PERFECTIONISM and SELF-EFFICACY, with PERCEIVED STRESS in the students of Azad Ahvaz University. The sample of this research contained 380 individulas that they were selected based on stratified random sampleing for male and female students of Azad Ahvaz University. METACOGNITION, PERFECTIONISM, SELF-EFFICACY and PERCEIVED STRESS inventories were used for data collecting. The present research was correlational type and the results of data analyesd by using person correlation factor and multivariable regression in meaningful level (p>0.0001). The results showed that there was meaningful negative relationship between METACOGNITION and PERCEIVED STRESS. There was not meaningful relationship between PERFECTIONISM and PERCEIVED STRESS. There was also meaningful negative relationship between SELF-EFFICACY and PERCEIVED STRESS. Findings were showed that there was meaningful multiple relationship between METACOGNITION, PERFECTIONISM and SELF-EFFICACY, with PERCEIVED STRESS. Regression analysed showed that SELF-EFFICACY were predictive with PERCEIVED STRESS. But METACOGNITION and PERFECTIONISM did not play any role in PERCEIVED STRESS.
