Abstract

This Paper seeks to depict relationship between environmental ARCHITECTURE quality and users’ mental HEALTH. Despite all modern findings, there are many factors threatening human beings’ HEALTH especially mental HEALTH. The shelter environment made by human beings themselves can be a threatening factor. In this study, analyzing relationship between environmental ARCHITECTURE and mental HEALTH, some criteria have been developed to measure environmental ARCHITECTURE quality and a researcher made questionnaire namely “environmental ARCHITECTURE satisfaction scale” was designed. Through this questionnaire, qualitative criteria were converted to quantitative ones and using correlation analysis a model was created to be compared to international standard questionnaires scores such as general HEALTH measurement questionnaire. Findings indicated a significant correlation. It can be concluded that increasing environmental ARCHITECTURE quality can improve general HEALTH especially mental HEALTH.
