Abstract

Most military organizations follow advanced and modern procedures for repairing and maintenance. However, after being used for a while, goods and equipment cause great costs and it seems that it is not economical to use them anymore. On the other hand, factors like weaknesses in developing standards, product variety, lack of quality control and most importantly, the prevailing culture of consumerism in society and military organizations, has influenced logistical supports for ARMED FORCES and caused some goods being unused and released. Hence, the need for planning strategic management of reverse LOGISTICS is inevitable.In this paper, it has been tried to gather needed information through interviewing selected experts and filling out Questionnaires, and in order to develop a reverse LOGISTICS strategies, analytical approach is used. Finally, the most important effective strategies for reverse LOGISTICS in ARMED FORCES are introduced.
