Abstract

Each functional field in SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS has different stress-making power. Those working in high stress-making jobs in SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS, experience more psychological pressures. The main question is: what differences on the level of public health can be find between the high and low stress-making jobs? The paper tries to answer this question in terms several signs of public health, including physical signs, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders and social function. The findings show that there are meaningful differences among those working in low and high stress-makings jobs in SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS. Using periodical description and GHQ-28 standard questionnaire and statistical T method, the functions of two groups of 45 employees are compared. The finding shows that, in addition to a lower public health for those working in high stress-making jobs, there are meaningful differences among the two groups in terms of Physical signs (T=5.31), depression signs (T=6.01), anxiety, sleep disorder (T=5.37) and social function disorder (T=5.96).
