Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and resiliency with job burnout among female employees of Islamic Azad University of Sabzevar. The population consisted of all female employees in the Islamic Azad University of Sabzevar in 2016. 86 women were selected through census sampling. Data was collected through Basic Psychological Needs Deci and Ryan (BNSQ), Connor and Davidson Resilience (CD-RISC) and burnout Singh (SBI) standard questionnaires. Data analysis was done using SPSS20 with Pearson correlation and multivariate regression methods, at a significance level of p<0. 05. The results showed that there was a significant and negative correlation between Basic Psychological Need and Resilience with job burnout. In addition, the regression results confirmed that the Basic Psychological Needs and resiliency variables could predict about 30. 8% of job burnout. So increase of Basic Psychological Needs satisfaction and Resilience can reduce job burnout among women.
