Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the CAREER ANCHORS between male and female PE TEACHERS of Tabriz. The research is of descriptive-correlation type, and it was conducted as a field study. The statistical population included all the PE TEACHERS in Tabriz, totaling 334 teachers. The research sample consisted of 179 teachers, selected randomly according to Morgan Table. For data collection, CAREER ANCHORS questionnaire (Schein, 2006) was used. After the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were confirmed, it was distributed among the participants and then collected. The results showed that the status of CAREER ANCHORS of PE TEACHERS in Tabriz is higher than average (p<0.01). Also, the results showed that there is not a significant difference between the CAREER ANCHORS of male and female teachers of Tabriz (p>0.05).
