Abstract

This paper tries to present vernacular concept of boundaryless career and investigates the relation between characteristics of personality and BOUNDARYLESS CAREER ATTITUDE. The present study uses correlation method.The employees of the Allameh Tabataba’i University in the academic years of 2013 and 2014 were chosen as statistical society. The selected sample included 226 individuals. Neo-FFI and Briscoe questionnaire on BOUNDARYLESS CAREER ATTITUDEs were used for data collection. By applying Pearson correlation, regression analysis and structural equations model, a significant and positive correlation between extroversion and boundaryless mindset resulted. Also, the findings showed a significant and negative correlation between nervousness and conscientiousness with mobility preference. We can conclude that individuals high in extroversion probably are higher in boundaryless mindset, while those have less nervousness and conscientiousness probably higher in mobility preference.
