Abstract

PRIMARY DYSMENORRHEAl is painful menstrual Cramps that we can't cause for these. About 80% of women especially young women have different degree of this syndrome. The main treatment of this syndrome is "NSAIDS", that by prevent the product of prostaglandins can Reduce the menstrual Cramps, But "NSAIDS" has very Complication, especially GI Complication.The aim of this study is comparison of the effect of vitb1 and Ibuberofen on the treatment of primary dysmenorhea.This study has done on the students that have primary dysmenorhea. 152 girls student that have moderate and sever dysmenorhea sited in two groups. First group (76) received 100 my/day vitb1 daily the luteal phase and second group (76) receives 40 my IBUBROFEN when their pain start (400 mg and dose repeated if the pain was present). (Duration of this study was 3 month).After collection of data analysis was done by spss x2 test man whiny and Freidman.There is no deference between intensity of pain before and after treatment by ibuberofen (p=0.000) and VIT E (p=0.000).There is no deference between the intensity of pain in two groups in first month but this differences were in second (p=0.000) and third month (p=0.000).There is deference between duration of pain. Before and after of treatment in IBUBROFEN group (p=0.000) and VIT E group (p=0.000) There is deference between duration of pain after intervention in two groups. (p=0.000)There is no deference between two groups about need to more drug to reduce the pain. (p=0.000).The affect of VIT E and IBUBROFEN is similar. But VIT E have the lower complications.
