Structural Equation Modeling Relationship between organizational loyalty and deviant behavior in the workplace due to the role of organizational virtue among employees of the University of Marine Sciences

Abstract

 The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between Organizational loyalty and Deviant Behaviors in the workplace mediated by organizational virtue among University of Marine Sciences staff. The research method is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of this study was all staff of Noshahr University of Marine Sciences. 340 people were selected by random sampling based on Morgan table. Data were collected through the Anson et al. (2013) Organizational loyalty questionnaire, Bennett & Robinson's deviant organizational behavior questionnaire (2000), Cameron et al. (2004) organizational virtue questionnaire. Amos18 software structural equation modeling was used to analyze the collected data. The results showed that Organizational loyalty accounts for 60 % of the variance in Deviant Behaviors in the workplace directly and 0. 08 % indirectly through the organizational virtue mediator variable. The University of Marine Sciences is meaningful.
