Abstract

Introduction: Drug addiction as a disease and one of the four major world crisis (a crisis environment, poverty, nuclear threat and drugs) is considered. And in the presence of Iran' s young population in our country, it has its own complexity.This study aims to predict the propensity to addiction model students based on personality factors (NEO) V tab was collected. Sanandaj Branch.Methods: This study was descriptive cross-sectional study - an analysis of 230 undergraduate and graduate psychology students at Islamic Azad University in the academic year 1394-1393, through multi-stage cluster sampling and sample volume were selected formula. To collect the data, the five-factor model of personality NEO-FFI, and the scale is ready to addiction (LAP) was in Ahvaz. Data analysis and statistical software SPSS 16 software using PATH ANALYSIS.was LISERL.Results: The results showed that among the endogenous variables extroversion and conscientiousness with maximum regression 12.0- and 37.0 direct significant effect on readiness to addiction.Conclusion: According to the findings, it can be stated in the prevention of drug dependence, education can help students be in the field.
