Abstract

 Background and Aim: The purpose of the present study is to identify and prioritize dimensions, components, indices, and provide a model of citizen satisfaction with e-government to improve Public Trust. Method: This research is a descriptive-survey one. Data collection was done by mixed of exploratory type (qualitative and quantitative combination) that collected qualitative data through content analysis of the texts (by open content coding) and expert opinion (descriptive statistics analysis with questionnaire) was used and quantitative data were collected through questionnaire (inferential statistics analysis method using confirmatory factor analysis technique). The sample consisted of 15 academic experts in the qualitative phase and 402 citizens of Arak in the quantitative stage. Findings: First, through qualitative method and content analysis method, after reviewing the literature, dimensions, components and a list of 85 indicators were prepared, then in three rounds of Delphi experts were surveyed and finally 73 indices in 3 dimensions and 10 components remained as indices of citizens' satisfaction with e-government to improve Public Trust. Conclusion: After presenting the desired model, the model was validated in a larger group of citizens in Arak through confirmatory factor analysis and finally the model structure was confirmed and the model was presented and the results were interpreted. The results showed that among the three dimensions, the dimension of Transparency Satisfaction and its indices with factor loadings of 0. 941 had the highest effect on the components of Public Trust.
