Abstract

Introduction: MENTAL HEALTH plays an important role for psychology pathology which is even more significant for university STUDENTS. This study aimed to determine the relationship between MENTAL HEALTH and HAPPINESS with ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT. This was a correlational and predictive study.Methods: The population of the research consisted of all of STUDENTS of Jondi Shahpour University of Medical Sciences among whom 200 STUDENTS were selected through random sampling. The data was collected using MENTAL HEALTH Questionnaire and HAPPINESS Questionnaire. It was analyzed using correlation coefficient and regression by SPSS software version21.Results: The results indicated that there is a significant positive relationship between both MENTAL HEALTH and ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, and also HAPPINESS and ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT. Moreover, the results of multiple regressions showed that the prediction variants explain the certified variants meaningfully.Conclusion: It is recommended to provide trainings for MENTAL HEALTH education to improve ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT of STUDENTS.
