Abstract

INTRODUCTION Median raphe cysts (MRC) are rarely seen cysts that develop from the median raphe in the male external genital region. These cysts might develop in any area, including the parameatus, glans penis, penile shaft, scrotum and perineum on the ventral surface of the genital region. (1, 2) A differential diagnosis must be made from other lesions such as glomus tumors, dermoid cysts, pilonidal cysts, epidermal inclusion cysts, urethral diverticula and steatocytomas that originate in the genital region. ..
