Abstract

 The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of contextual factors on employees’ Deviant Behaviors. Considering purpose, the research is applied and based on the nature, it is a descriptive survey. The statistical population of the study is consisted of 280 personnel in a military organization in Tehran. To select the sample, using the Morgan table, 162 individuals were selected through simple random sampling. The data collection tools were standard questionnaires on research variables. The content validity of the questionnaires and their reliability were confirmed by experts and Cronbach’ s alpha coefficient respectively. The data were analyzed using LISREL software. The results showed that the underlying factors have significant effects on employees’ Deviant Behaviors. Also, Political Affiliation (0. 82), Complexity of Laws and regulations (0. 79), poor working culture (0. 76), and inappropriate labor market conditions (0. 73) significantly impact on employees’ Deviant Behaviors.
