Abstract

Background and Objectives: One of the most common injuries during sports and athletes' activities is muscle cramps, which are accompanied by muscle discomfort, pain, and stiffness. Materials and Methods: Twenty-four handball female from dehdasht, kohkiluyeh and boyer-ahmad, randomly divided into two groups: test (n=12) and control group (n=12). Test group performed of Plyometric Training of 8 weeks, including three sessions per week with a range of workouts, 8 to 12 movements and 10 seconds per session. Blood samples were taken before and after 1 meeting and end meeting, in order to measure CPK and LDH level. CPK and LDH measured by pars azmoon kit. Data were analyzed using Student’ s Repeated measure with Bonferroni correction. Significance level was considered to be P<0. 05. Results: 8 weeks Plyometric Training increase serum CPK concentration of Handball Women significantly (P<0/005), also serum LDH concentration significantly increased in group training (P<0/000). Conclusions: The present study indicated that 8 weeks Plyometric Training have effect on CPK and LDH of Handball Women. But these change lessend in comparison with the modulate after the first meeting. Probably the Plyometric Training protocol can be a suitable approach for minimizing the production of muscular injury indicators.
