Abstract

We studied the economic burden of depressive disorders for patients and society.In this study we compared the number of medical visites, paraclinical investigations and the days of occupational absences in one year in 100 depressed outpatients and the control group. We found significant differences between depressed patients and control group in the variables (P<0.01).
