Abstract

264 students from SABZEVAR universities were randomly selected for the study. Relevant data were collected using Baldi's LIFESTYLE and Health questionnaire, Beck's DEPRESSION Inventory, Speilberger's State-Trait Inventory and Demographic and Stressors questionnaires. The results indicated that LIFESTYLE and Health scores negatively correlated with DEPRESSION Inventory scores, i.e. the better the LIFESTYLE, the lower the ANXIETY and DEPRESSION. Females tended to have higher scores in Baldi's questionnaire than the males did. Also, this was the case with married students, compared with the singles. Good family relations and friendships were among the commonest attitudes towards LIFESTYLE, while the least satisfactory attitudes included lack of sexual and job SATISFACTION.
