Abstract

This survey was, performed to find the JOB SATISFACTION among health professionals in the healthcare networks of Chahar-mahal and Bakhtyari province. The sample (733 persons, 395 females and 338 males) consisted of health technicians, tooth-health technicians, health experts and physicians. To assess JOB SATISFACTION the JDI QUESTIONNAIRE was used. The results showed that, majority of the staffs were satisfied with respect to "the management, other staff and the nature of their work". But most of them were dissatisfied with the "promotion and salary". Satisfaction was higher among the staff responsible for primary health care and those working farther from the center. low educated and native staff also had a higher satisfaction. Therefore fair promotion and increase of salary may results in better satisfaction.
