Abstract

The General Agreement on Tariff and Trade (GATl) is an international treaty between the countries for expanding the free trade. The general purpose of the present article is to review and analyse the main issue of the Uruguay round of GATT. The new agreement which has changed GATT into a more binding World Trade Organization (WTO) requires the member countries to follow more liberal trade policies. This article will examine also new conditions of international role of World Trade Organization
