Abstract

The aim of implementation this research was to determinate the degree of effectiveness of Islamic self-knowledge on solving marital strives. Statistical community was all of spouses which by announcement were volunteer to participate in this research. 14 married couples (28 subjects) were selected from between them. They were matched on their scores and were assigned randomly to experimental or control groups. Researchs tools were self-knowledges 29 items questionnaire and Spaniers 32 items Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS). These scales were performed individually accurate controlled conditions in pretreatment and post treatment stages. The data were analyzed by Pearsons Correlation coefficient, repeated measurement design, Turkey (HSD) test and chart. These results Were illuminated that once self-knowledge was increased, significantly (P = 0/0001) cause to increase marital adjustment in experimental group against pretreatment and control group. Efficacy of self-knowledge on adult ego state in experimental group (6/36) was more than parent (3/34) and child (4/36) ego states. Also correlation of marital adjustment with adult ego state (0/87) was more than parent (0/53) and child (0/62) ego states.
