Abstract

Although changes are Known as the main inevitable matter in all academic systems, but more important than that is researching to see if the changes have a positive erect or not And so, thws research aims to have a comparative study on the problems of educational and adjustive guidance of high school students in the year - unit system comparing to the semester - unit system in towns Kashan, Aran and Bidgol. The applied researching method in this research is the uualitative and questionnaire consisting of ten closed questions; and in the qualitative section a semi - strilctured interview were used in order to gather the necessary data. The statistical population for the research consists of all superintendent and consultants who have worked in both the year - unit and semester - unit systems. Because of the limited number of the population, all consultants and ten of the superintendent in the motioned towns were involved in the research. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data of the questionnaire and the analysis of the interview was done using the categorization method. Findings of the questionnaire show that the average problems of the consultants working in the year - unit systern are significantly less than their counterparts working in the semester unit system. Findings of the interview also confirm most of the findings of the questionnaire.
