Abstract

Diabetic GASTEROPARALYSIS is a kind of motor electromechanical disorder in which gaster and other portion of GI system is motionless. In this research, we examined effects of MORPHINe ADDICTION on diabetic gastroparalysis. We divided the 30 female N-MARI rats in 4 groups. In normal groups, all rats received salin (volume / kg). In the diabetic group, all rats received STZ (45 mg/kg); in normal addict group, rats received MORPHINe 30-50 mg/kg for four sequential days and twice a day. In the fourth group, rats received first STZ (45mg/kg)Sc and then MORPHINe (30-50mg/kg Sc). For ADDICTION test, withdrawal syndrome was evaluated. Gastroparalysis is studied by macroscopical and microscopical slice. Slices stained by H&E and trichrom mason. We found that gastric morphology in diabetic rats is larger than normal rats; in addition, gastric morphology in diabetic rats is larger than normal rats; fundus in diabetic rats was of less folding. The thickness of extrnal muscular layer in diabetic rats is thinner but its histological structure is not changed; pylor sphincter in diabetic rats was hyperthrophized. In addict diabetic rats, only epithelial layer grew and folded and gaster volume in addict diabetic rats was less increased (P<0.05). These results indicated that ADDICTION improved the GASTEROPARALYSIS in diabetic rats.
