Abstract

As an organization is a network of an administrative and operational process, and it is led by human beings, the management of human resources is considered as an effective factor which affects the STAFF’s efficiency and effectiveness. Hence, the present study is to investigate the intraorganizational factors causing stress among the STAFF of Islamic Azad University, Roudehen branch. The statistical population of this survey consisted of the whole working STAFF in Islamic Azad University, Roudehen Branch in the academic year of 1388- 89. The study method was descriptive and surve type. To collect the primary data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. Using Cokran formula, 212 STAFF was chosen. The results showed that the STAFF understands and notion towards factors which cause stress in academic environment is at the usual level and a little more than the average level. In addition, out of all components under investigation, it can be concluded that CAREER FACTORS, organizatinal factors, PHYSICAL FACTORS of work place, and GROUP FACTORS have had the most effect on creating stress respectively.
