Title

THE EFFECT OF THE EFFECT OF ADDAE (ANALYSIS, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, EVALUATION) DESIGNING METHOD WITH EMPHASIZING ON MOBILE LEARNING ON STUDENTS SELF CONCEPTION, DEVELOPMENT MOTIVATION AND ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT IN ENGLISH COURSE

Abstract

 This research was done with the aim of assessing the effect of ADDAE EDUCATIONAL DESIGNING METHOD (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with emphasizing on MOBILE LEARNING on students, SELF CONCEPTION, DEVELOPMENT MOTIVATION and ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT in their English course. The research design was quasi experimental method. Statistical population consisted of BA students of Islamic Azad University, Neka Branch, and the year of entrance was 1391 who selected general English.Applying clustering sampling method, two classes of 89 persons were selected and were assigned in two experimental (49 persons) and control groups (40 persons) according to simple random sampling. Study tools consisted of Hermans achievement motivation test, SCQ SELF CONCEPTION test and a researcher-made test on English language. The researcher-made test validity was approved by experts point of view and reliability was calculated (0.87) according to test-retest method. At the beginning of test, pre test was performed on two groups. The content of course was taught to experimental group based on ADDIE educational design model by means of sending SMSs and not in class and the common method of education for control group. In the end, the post test was administered to two groups in order to assess their motivation, self concept, and ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT.ANCOVA test was used to assess research hypothesis. The data showed that experimental group average scores were higher than control group. Also, results showed that using EDUCATIONAL DESIGNING METHOD (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with emphasizing on MOBILE LEARNING affects on increasing students SELF CONCEPTION, DEVELOPMENT MOTIVATION and ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT in English course and lead to innovation in education.
