The purpose of this research was to compare body image, body mass index, General health and self-concept in applicants of cosmetic surgery, and people who have already done cosmetic surgery and ordinary people of Behbahan city. The sample included 300 people from applicant groups under surgery and ordinary groups (each group included 100people), and first and second groups selected was according to availability of sampling. And ordinary people selected by using random clustering.Applied tools in this research were Body image Questionaire (BICI), Body mass index informational list (BMI), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) and Rajerz self- concept Questionnaire. Analysis of data by MANOVA multi-parameter variance analytic method, Toki follow-up test and results in significance level of p£0/05 showed that there is significant difference between applicants of cosmetic surgery, people who have already passed/ done surgery and ordinary people, in terms of body image, body mass index and general health.
