Considering the importance of preserving the environment of tourist villages, the present study aimed to investigate the role of tourism development in promoting environmental knowledge in the villages of the Qhale Chaei touristic road in Ajbashir. This research is developmental in terms of its purpose, descriptive, causal and analytical in nature. The statistical population of the study included the residents of nine villages along the mentioned road. Using a simple random sampling method, 370 people were selected based on Cochran formula. The factual validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by some experts. Using the Cronbach Alpha Special Formula, the reliability of the research questionnaire was 0. 887. For data analysis, Pearson correlation test and multivariate regression test as well as path analysis using PLS software were used. For the prioritization of villages Topsis, Vicore, ANP and Kaplend models were used. The results of the research showed that there was a significant relationship between all the variables which were ecological balance protection of the village, vegetation and animal protection, drought control, noise pollution, water and soil conservation, use of organic farming, and reduction of fuel use.
