Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to identify educational needs of middle managers, in the Iran KHODRO Company and the affiliated companies. Survey research technique was utilized.The statistical population included all514 middle managers in Iran KHODRO headquarter and affiliated companies. A random sample of 220 people was selected using stratified sampling. Data were analyzed using T test, and ANOVA.The results showed that respondents considered their ability as satisfactory in the three categories, However, demonstrated more needs in the areas of more secured products (Supplementary needs), iMIS, time management and financial management (problem solving area needs). In terms of complementary needs managers had different views based on their work experience. Finally, results showed that managers had high educational standards.

Abstract: 

The present study was aimed at examining the impact of organizational structure on creativity and innovation in organizations. In this survey study a sample of 160 high schools was randomly selected from a total of 280 using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using two separate questionnaires including Organizational Structure (three dimensions) and Organizational Creativity (six dimensions) measures. Both scales had satisfactory formal validities and reliabilities. Data were analyzed using T-test and two-way ANOVA. Results indicated that high schools with organic structure demonstrated more organizational creativity. Also, in all six creativity dimensions, high schools with organic structure were found to be higher than those with mechanic structure. Therefore, it can be concluded that organic structures tend more to take risks, to be open to vague views, and to encourage new ideas while they are less resistant against change and conflicting views.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to construct and standardize an academic achievement test for Year 1 Mathematics at high schools. A sample of 1000 students (500 girls, 500 boys) was randomly selected and subjects were matched by sex, region, and educational setting.Research instrument was a 400-item Moths scale with four subscales developed by the researchers.Reliability of subscales ranged from .90 to .98. Content validity of the scale was satisfactory. The Kelly method was used to modify the instrument by removing inappropriate items. Results indicated that girls had better academic performance than boys. Items were in congruent with the Bloom taxonomy of cognitive domain. Then, the scale was standardized using percentile ranks. In conclusion, the scale may be used for both summative and formative assessment in high schools to evaluate student' s performance on Mathematics.

Abstract: 

This study was aimed at investigating the relationship between organizational climate of schools and empowerment of teachers. A sample of 89 teachers was selected from high schools of in the city of Bojnoord through simple random sampling technique. Organizational Climate - (four dimension developed by Hoy and Sibo), and Empowerment of Teachers- (eight dimension developed by Jof and Scott) were used in the for data collection. Both questionnaires had satisfactory content validity and their reliabilities were 0.78 and 0.88 respectively, using Cronbach Alpha coefficient. Data were analyzed with SPSS using analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, and chisquare.Findings indicated that there was a significant relationship between school organizational climate and empowerment of teachers. A significant relationship was found between open and engaged climates and empowerment of teachers. There was no significant relationship between disengaged climate of schools and empowerment of the teachers. Finally, a significant relationship was found between closed climate of schools and empowerment of the teachers.

Abstract: 

Group interaction among students at university is a complex series of experiences that, if productive, may result in human resource development.Otherwise, it might hinder and block their open interactions. Among the obstacles are dichotomies between cultures and ethnicities that are somehow isolated, undervalued and underpresented in the larger society. In this qualitative study, a sample of 40 undergraduate students was approached using ethnography method to investigate hidden curriculum with emphasis on: a) their mutual interactions; b) their interactions with academics; and c) the context of interactions. Data were collected through autobiographies, observations, interviews, note takings, journals, tape recordings, films, and documents analyses. Results showed that students had different experiences during their through interaction with their peers and tutors.

Abstract: 

In this study, the researchers, selected 73 key indicators to review the present situation and to consider the possibility of their use in the evaluation of contexts, inputs, processes and results of curriculum at postgraduate level based on the CIPP-model in Isfahan, Shahrekord and Isfahan Industrial universities. It is an applied research study and the method used is descriptive-. The statistical population of the quantitative part included all faculty members, students and postgraduate students at the mentioned universities (total: 11635 people). A sample of 652 people was selected through stratified random sampling. Statistical population of qualitative part included all faculty members of the universities mentioned, from which a sample of 30 was selected by purposeful sampling method. Data were collected by questionnaire and interview. The validity of the tools was approved by 15 professors of Isfahan University. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the present and possible situation of the questionnaire was 0.96 and 0.97. The reliability of the interview form was assessed by the specialists and the triangulation technique. According to respondents the use of these indicators at present was about average and lower.Whereas the possibility of using all indicators was high Therefore using all these indicators in the evaluation of the evaluation of curriculum, based on the presented modelwas suggested.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this this study was to apply the (EFQM) to the Human Resource Management of Power Dispatching Company in the Western Azarbaijan Province. Statistical population in this study included all managers and experts of the company. A random sample of 70 was approached for data collection. A questionnaire was administered to the sample with a Cronbach's alfa coefficient of 0.98. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis. Results showed that planning, management, recovery criterion of human resources was well below average. Employees’ knowledge and competence recognition were about average. Employees’ participation in organization problems were about average.Organization and employees mutual contact were low. Whereas staff recognition and encouragement were high. Regarding to results managers must pay more attention to planning, management, human resource recovery and mutual interaction between organization and employees.
