Objectives: The present study aims to analyze the conceptual framework and features of Islamic and Iranian identity and its practical development in academic system.Method: The method of the article is a combination of descriptive analyses (documentary analyzes) and qualitative content analysis. Data collection is through interviews.Results: 1- five different aspects of Islamic and Iranian identity indicators are religious, economic, social, cultoral and political.2- different aspects of Islamic and Iranian identity are scientifically studied and Iranian cultural heritage is compared with Islamic bases. 3-realization of Islamic –Iranian identity requires internalization and comprehensive development of five mentioned aspects of Islamic and Iranian identity in three levels: cognitive, emotional and behavioral of individual.4-main practical points in development of Islamic and Iranian identity in university system are included in eight dimensions: management and manegers, professors, teachings, evaluation, content, student, university.Conclusion: The author of the article concludes due to different aspects of Islamic and Iranian identity indicators (religious, economic, social, cultural and political) we can scientifically compare Iranian cultural heritage with Islamic bases. University system have to pay more attention to internalizing and development of cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects of individual and the role of management, professors, teachings, evaluation, content, student and University.
