Abstract:

The subjects were selected by Available sampling method. The data gathering tool was a short form of cognitive test (AMT), demographic profile form, and depression, anxiety and stress scale (DASS). The internal consistency coefficients of the three scales of depression, anxiety and stress were: 93. 9, 90. 9, and 92. 9 respectively. The test-retest coefficients (with a three-week interval) of depression, anxiety and stress scales were: 0. 88, 89. 9, respectively. And 90. In addition, the intra-class correlation between two runs is equal to 87. 78, 87. 8. And 80. The conditions for entering the elderly were: age 60-75 years, cognitive capacity and ability to answer questions (AMT), lack of neurological disorders, communication ability and absence of mental illness. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics such as Independent T and Anova Unilateral in SPSS software version 20 at significance level P ≤ 0. 05. Results: The mean age of the elderly participated in this study was 69. 51 ± 4. 29 (SD = 4. 29), 65% female and 35% male. Nearly half of the elderly had a mild to moderate depression (41. 6%), about 47. 9% had moderate anxiety and 23% had mild to moderate stress. Abstract:

Introduction: Parenting quality is a major cause of growth and development in children, but its inappropriateness along with the familial conflict and the lack of warm and positive relationship with parents in Roma families, called the Gorbat groups, leads to the psychological, physical and social problems in the child future. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of peer parenting skill training on the parent/child relationship. Methods: In this randomized controlled clinical trial (RCT) before and after the intervention, 60 parents (mothers) with 6-12 year-old children, who were studying at Sobherouyesh School (for child labor) and had the eligibility for inclusion in the research, were randomly selected from Roma families (Gorbats) living in Harandi Square of Tehran City in the year 2016 (based on the sample size formula for inclusion in the controland intervention group with random allocation). Parent-child relationship scale questionnaire relating to the mother was the data collection tool which was collected by children with the help of researchers before, after and 6 months after the intervention. Furthermore, the demographic questionnaire before the intervention was completed to collect data from mothers with the help of researchers. Five mothers were selected as peers according to the peer selection criterion in the present study and trained. After recognizing their abilities to present the content, by psychologist of group, the trained peer group taught mothers in the intervention group. For intervention, mothers were divided into 6 groups each which was allocated to a peer for training. Regarding the fact that sessions were weekly, each group received training a day per week, and the intervention was completed in two months. The researchers and psychologists of group also attended in sessions which held by peers. Parenting skills were taught to them based on the positive parenting program, which was run in four weekly 2-hour workshops by group discussion and role play along with four weekly 2-hour sessions simultaneous with cooking, regular sessions in mother s houses for breakfast or during pilgrimage tours, by researchers for peers. The control group did not receive any training. Data analysis was done using SPSS software, independent and paired t-tests, Chi-square test. Results: The independent t-test indicated that the mean score of parent-child relationship in the mother form was significantly different in two groups after and 6 months after the intervention (P<0. 05). Conclusions: The results indicated that the peer parenting training affected the improvement of mother-child relationship in itinerant families, but this group still needed further and ongoing training intervention in the field of parenting and child care especially by persons who have necessary knowledge in this field as professional pediatric nurses.

Abstract:

Introduction: Aesthetic surgery has been growing in recent years in Iran, and girls and women have the largest number of facial cosmetic surgeons. Given the significant presence of girls and women in society, can community pressures affect women's ability to perform cosmetic surgery? In this study, the subjective norm of the applicants for cosmetic surgery was evaluated and compared with the non-applicant group referred to hospitals affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University in 1395. Methods: This is an analytical and comparative study. 400 women in two groups of facial cosmetic surgery and non-admitted facial cosmetic surgery patients referred to a hospital covered by Shahid Beheshti University were compared. Sampling method was clustered. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Results: Among 200 applicants and 200 non-existent women, 96 (48%) and 88 (44%) were in the age group of 35-35 years, and 86 (43%) and 88 (44%) at the undergraduate level. In the applicant group, 118 (59%) were single and 80 (40%) were married. In the non-existent group, 117 (58. 5%) were single and 78 (39%) were married. The study of subjective norms in the two groups showed that the subjects in the Applicant group significantly than non-applicant group believe the subjective norms (P-value < 0. 001). Conclusions: In this study, subjective norm were identified as an effective factor in performing cosmetic surgery. Applicants are influenced by the views of the most important individuals in their lives, including parents, spouses and doctors, and follow their opinions for cosmetic surgery, while non-adherents do not follow such a pattern. Therefore, in future studies, it is necessary to provide interventions to educate self-esteem applicants so that they cannot easily be influenced by the opinions of their circles.

Abstract:

Introduction: Quality assurance of higher education, especially PhD education, is one of the concerns and priorities of higher education planning planners. Matching, comparing and analyzing different dimensions of educational programs with other countries is very effective in solving this concern. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of comparing the descriptive-comparative study of nursing Ph. D Curriculum in Iran and the American University of North Carolina. Methods: This is a descriptive study with a comparative approach in which the Iranian nursing education system was compared with elements of the doctoral curriculum of the University of North Carolina. Data were collected by searching the internet with using of databases Persian and English. The data were analyzed using four-step Bereday model including description, interpretation, juxta position and comparison. Results: The content of the courses in North Carolina is highly specialized, focusing on student needs, in keeping with the philosophy and goals of the program, and the needs of the community are included in the student courses. North Carolina's Ph. D. Nursing Curriculum is full-time and part-time with a 3. 5 year teaching period and student recruitment is independently by the university, but in Iran, this is only full-time and student admission is concentrated. The trends of this university for this section include PhD, DNP, Post Doc, DNS, DNAP, but in Iran it is only offered with a Ph. D trends. Admission to Ph. D. in Carolina is also possible from a bachelor's degree while this is not possible in Iran. Conclusions: Given the comparisons and curriculum advantages of the University of North Carolina, it is appropriate for Iranian nursing education planners to make fundamental changes to the curriculum of this section in terms of philosophy, goals, duration, courses, and so on, to solve problems of health care system and the community.
