Abstract:

Lullabies are considered as a branch of popular literature and are also a subcategory of children literature due to paying attention to children and their issues. Furthermore, lullabies can be considered as the first child tune that has a long history since the genesis of humanity. The reflection of the political, cultural, religious, and social issues on lullabies in protracted centuries has been clear; this can be the main factor for the maintenance of the lullabies. The lullabies content changes based on the issues of each age has caused the foundation of a suitable base for being aware of the dominated issues in the time of this sub-genre for that the social issues are not exceptional. The appearance of social issues in new lullabies, of which the poets take the control, is more than the old lullabies that the mothers had to sing. This has intensified the necessity to analyze the reflection of social issues on new lullabies. This study aims to socially investigate the lullabies of current age through a descriptive-analytic approach and to analyze the resulting effects on the lullabies content.

Abstract:

This paper is a study of the opinion and taste of young adults with regard to fiction through a quantitative approach. The data was collected from Shiraz County junior high school students with the help of a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical sample included 484 young adults of seventh and eighth grade (243 female and 241 male) who were selected through random sampling from all four districts of Shiraz Department of Education. Data analysis suggested that 71. 6% of female and 45. 2% of male students read stories. Other statistical analyses show that novels and long stories are more popular compared to short stories, anecdotes and other types of stories. The main source of supplying fiction for male and female young adults is purchasing books and then reading on the Internet. The most popular type of stories among young adults are realistic stories followed by fantasy. Female students are mostly fan of romance, while male students tend to read crime. Although there is disagreement in selecting tone and environment for female and male students, adventure and thrillers are among the most popular. The taste comparison of young adults in selecting story type and topic and also comparing the most attractive stories read by them suggest that there is a huge gap between books for children published in 2009-2011 and the taste and selection of young adults.

Abstract:

Psychology and its application in life today are of great importance. This science has long been interconnected with other sciences, including literature. In this kind of interdisciplinary research, writers' works are analyzed from different aspects of psychology. In this essay, borrowing from the Austrian psychologist Adler's personality theory, we have been focusing on humiliating humor in the characters of the two works of Mahdi Rajabi, a well-known and creative author of the child and teenagers, the THE GIANT FROM THE TIN CAN and the THE MISING UNATARA. The environment (home / school) is known to be a major cause of feelings of humiliation in children and adolescents. In this research, the effects of the home environment on the formation of a sense of humiliation in a person such as parent depression, loss of life, poor and inadequate supervisor, and the effects of the school environment on the formation of a sense of humiliation in a person such as physical harassment, attribution of bad attributes by students and blame for coaches, The characters have been reviewed. This research has been investigated with a qualitative content analysis approach and the related sentences and meanings have been conducted in accordance with the Adler theory of deductive analysis. The results showed that the role and influence of the school environment on the impact of the home environment on the sense of humility in the narratives of Rajabi is greater. in these two works, the causes of a sense of humility both in the impact of the home environment and on the impact of the school environment were observed in the THE GIANT, more than the lost Unauthorized book. The influence of the home environment and school environment on creating a sense of humility in Tuka, the main character.

Abstract:

The Little Black Fish by Samad Behrangi is one of the books that has a special place in the history of children and adolescent literature. Reza Rahgozar (Mohammad Reza Sarshar) considers this book to have no metaphorical meaning because black color does not have any revolutionary connotation. In this article, some features of hermeneutics theory are applied to understand the meaning of black. To this end, the meaning of black in a picture of a fictional poem and three articles are explored. It is argued that anti-colonial liberation revolutions, especially in Africa, which were taking place at the same time, have been the focus of attention among Iranian intellectuals of the time. Prior to the Islamic Revolution, the color black signified revolution and resistance to colonialism and despotism. Hence, the use of black in this story has its own metaphorical meaning. Discussing the relationship between metaphorical story and children's literature, it is concluded that several reference books for children and adolescents must reconsider and revise what they have presented in this respect.

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is dialoguing with the promoters, researchers, students and P4C enthusiasts in Iran about the literary and philosophical dilemmas that some promoters and researchers in this field are faced with. By reviewing and criticizing the article "A New Look at the Philosophical and Literary Characteristics of Stories in the P4C Program" written by Saeed Naji and Leila Habibi Iraqi, and due to dialogic essay’ s characteristics, I have tried to answer the question whether Naji and Habibi’ s essay is dialogic. I have also tried to share with this essay’ s readers some of the difficulties in achieving the goals of P4C in Iran by showing the literary and philosophical dilemmas that the writers face in the mentioned text.
