The Aim of the present study was to investigate the impact of lifestyle on general health and emotional intelligence. The research method is descriptive correlational. The statistical population of the present study was all male and female primary and middle school students from Saveh city in 2015 academic year. According to the education statistics of Saveh city in 2015, 8759 students were in primary and middle schools. In this study, stratified random sampling method was used and according to the statistical population of this study, 368 samples (207 elementary school students and 161 middle school students) were selected based on Cochran's formula. The instruments used in this study were Lifestyle Questionnaire (LSQ), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ), and Bradbury-Graves Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. Based on the level of data measurement and statistical assumptions, multiple linear regression has been used to test the hypotheses. The results of statistical analysis showed that weight control and nutrition factors, disease prevention, spiritual health, social health and environmental health have a significant relationship with general health (P <0. 05). The results of data analysis also showed that mental health, social health, medicine and drug avoidance and accident prevention factors have a significant relationship with emotional intelligence (P <0. 05). As a result of this research, it can be said that there is no doubt that lifestyle and lifestyle choices in a family have important effects on students' emotional intelligence, and these effects will remain in the long run.

Abstract:

Marriage is one of the oldest human bonds which improves human personality and plays a prominent role in directing human life. The present study aimed to provide a model of structural equations in the relation between the tendency to divorce with communication skills and the nuclear family health with the mediating role of marital intimacy and marital conflicts between couples in Kermanshah. The statistical population of this study was all couples in Kermanshah and the sampling method was clustering. Among the eight municipal districts, district 8 was selected and among couples 200 couples were selected as sample members. The tools used were the Kenzas Conflict Scale (1985), Walker and Thompson's Marital Intimacy (193), The Health of the Homeostat et al. (1985), Quinn Dam's Communication Skills (2001) and Rosolt's Divorce Tendency (1986). IBM AMOS 24 software was used to analyze the data. The nuclear family health through marital conflicts and marital intimacy is related to the tendency to divorce (P <0. 05). Communication skills through marital conflicts and marital intimacy are also associated with the tendency to divorce (P <0. 05) and each of the variables of marital conflicts and marital intimacy is directly related to the tendency to divorce (P <0. 05). Intimate and close marital relationship is based on considering the spouse in any situation. When couples increase communication skills and intimacy, and reduce the level of conflict, they will certainly experience a lower tendency to divorce.

Abstract:

Generalized anxiety disorder is one of the most common anxiety disorders observed in clinical centers and general population. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy on cognitive emotion regulation and the reduction of intellectual rumination in patients with generalized anxiety disorder. For this purpose, during a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-post test design and a control group, 45 patients with generalized anxiety disorder refering to counseling centers in Tehran were selected by available sampling method and randomly assigned in three 15-person groups (15 in the commitment and acceptance therapy group; 15 in the dialectical behavior therapy group; and 15 in the control group). Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) training programs were administered to the experimental groups during 14 sessions. The groups were assessed for cognitive emotion regulation and rumination at the beginning, end and two months after the study. The results of covariance showed that the mean of post-test rumination variable in dialectical group was less than that of the commitment and acceptance group. Rumination variable in both treatment groups was less than control group. The mean of emotional adjustment components in dialectical treatment group was less than that of commitment and acceptance group. This study supports the need for controlling emotion regulation and rumination in people with generalized anxiety.

Abstract:

The goal of this study was to compare the effectiveness of family education with Glasser's reality therapy approach and Ellis's rational-emotional-behavioral approach on social adjustment in elementary students by promoting family performance. The statistical population consisted of all parents and students of the fifth and sixth grades of the three regions of Kermanshah city, which from, 75 students and their parents were selected based on multistage random sampling method and were randomly assigned to three groups. The first group received the necessary training based on Glasser's reality therapy, and the second group received the necessary training based on Ellis's rational-emotionalbehavioral approach as well for two and a half months, and the control group received no intervention during this period. The data were analyzed by onevariable and multi-variable covariance analysis and LSD post hoc test. The results showed that the interventions are effective on family function (P<0. 01) and social adjustment of children (P<0. 01, F=30. 14). However, the mean difference between the first and second groups in the scores of family function and social adjustment of children were not significant.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training on adaptive behaviors and cognitive dissonance of adolescent girls with oppositional defiant disorder. The present research method is quasi-experimental for incompatible groups with pre-test and post-test. The statistical population includes all junior high school students with oppositional defiant disorder. A total of 40 adolescents, who were diagnosed with coping disorder according to the Pediatric Symptomatic Questionnaire (CSI-4), were selected by available method and recruited in two experimental and control groups. Harmon-Jones scale (DARQ scale) and Lambert et al. 's adaptive behavior scale were used to gather information. The experimental group participated in the training program of ten 90-minute sessions in group, and the training program was implemented by the researcher. A covariance test was used to analyze the data. The findings show that mindfulness training improves the adaptive behaviors of exemplary people and reduces their arousal, but it has not had a significant effect on cognitive dissonance.

Abstract:

Security and ontology are considered as two basic concepts in most religions, especially the religion of Islam and scientific theories in the field of humanities. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of ontological security training on religious identity, psychological safety, and job security in teachers. In this quasi-experimental study which was carried out using a pretest-post test design and a two-month follow-up with a control group, 30 female teachers referring to Farhangian Counseling Center of Yasuj were selected by purposive sampling method and were randomly classified into the experimental and control groups, each group included 15 subjects, and were assessed using religious identity, psychological safety, and perceived job insecurity questionnaires. The experimental group participated in six 75-minute sessions of ontological security training, but the control group received no training sessions. Data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA in SPSS v. 24. The mean scores of religious identity and mental security in the experimental group showed an increase compared to the control group in the post-test and follow-up stages, and this increase was also observed in the mean scores of job security in the post-test stage, but there was a decrease in the follow-up stage. In the post-test phase, the effect of ontological security training on religious identity (P<0. 05), psychological safety (P<0. 01), and job security (P<0. 01) was significant. Also, in the follow-up phase, the effectiveness of this method on religious identity (P<0. 01) and psychological security (P<0. 01) continued, but this continuum was not observed on job security (P>0. 05). The ontological security training is effective on improving religious identity, psychological safety, and job security, but the continuation of its effectiveness on job security depends on other factors such as social components.
