In this study, the results of the faculty assessment of undergraduate students for about 500 courses in the Faculty of Psychology & Education(P & E), offered during the time of the present study was analysed. The findings indicated that the results are not independenent of the faculty members. Frequency disbrution of the different courses taught in these programs had a mode of equal to six. However, in some cases 8 to 9 different courses had been taught by only one faculty member.

Abstract:

Citing is an aged process, hawever, today it is one of the most important criteria to measure the links established among writings, the impact of the scientific products, as well as an index for the evaluation of the writings. The procedures and approachs lead to the criteria established in the international academic institutes. Meanwhile, some pitfalls exist in the citation process which are sometimes not easy to remove. The analysis ofthe data variance, regression and independent test) indicated that: 1) There is a significant relationship between FF and CSS:2) 12 out of 15 dimestions of family functioning showed significant relationship. with coping style; 3)There is no significant defference between males and females in choosing problem-based and emotional-based styles, hawever, they are significantly different in choosing avoid-based style; 4) males use problem-based style more than the other two styles; and 5) Females use problem-based, avoidance-based, and emotion-based styles respectively.

Abstract:

The relationship between attribution styles and self-esteem was investigated on Gilan university students. The subjects were 151 females & 126 males. Seligman attribution style questionnaire and Copper-Smith selfesteem inventory were used. A one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) suggests no significant relationship between self-esteem and university courses. A t- test for independent groups suggests that there were no significant relationship between male and female self-esteem. Stepwies analysis of regression showed that there were negative and significant relationship between three types of attribution (stability-instability attribution after succession, stability-instability attribution and general- specific after failure). It means that there is reduction of self-esteem with the increase of stability attribution after succession and failure, and general attribution after succession. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) suggests that there were significant relationship between male and female students on internal-external attribution styles after succession and general- specific attribution styles after failure, it means females had more internal attribution style on positive events and more external attribution style on negative events. There were no significant relationship between different attribution style and entrance year to the university and courses. A Chi-square test showed significant relationship between entrance year to the university and internal-eXternal attribution styles after succesion.
