Abstract

 The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE in the formation of ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR. This descriptive study utilized survey method to collect data. The research instruments used were the Stephen Robins’ ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE questionnaire (reliability= 0.85) and a researcher-designed questionnaire of ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (reliability= 0.72). The sample consisted of 216 randomly-selected experts working for the Ministry of EDUCATION. Data analysis involved descriptive and deductive statistics including Pearson’s correlation coefficient and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of SEM indicated that ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE exerts the highest effect on the formation of organizational loyalty. In addition, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE positively affects the formation of humanism, commitment, organizational participation, and organizational politeness and obedience.
